Permanent Improvement Levy- Benefits

  1. Facility Upkeep: A PI levy ensures ongoing maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to school facilities. See Photos of a few examples
     

  2. Safety Enhancements: Funds from the PI levy can enhance security measures in schools, keeping students and staff safe.
     

  3. Technology Investments: The levy supports investments in educational technology, benefiting students' learning experiences.
     

  4. Community Investment: Passing the PI levy demonstrates community commitment to quality education and infrastructure.       
                                 

  5. Preserving Property Values: Well-maintained schools positively impact property values in the community.                                                             

  6. Long-Term Planning: PI levies allow districts to plan for long-term improvements, even if financed over several years [4].
     

  7. Supporting Education: The PI provides the district to focus general fund dollars to support education without taking money from the general fund for PI projects
